-- TOLEDO, Ohio, November, 28, 2012 – Taylor KIA is celebrating this holiday season with a contest that is sure to get people in Northwest Ohio shaking. This type of giveaway is a first for the Taylor Automotive Family, a dealership group that first opened its doors in downtown Toledo in 1979. Since then the company has expanded to six dealerships with three KIA franchises in Northwest Ohio, including a recently opened location in Lima.
Steve Taylor wanted a contest that was more engaging for the consumer and different than anything he had ever done before. With nearly half of all adult Americans owning Smartphones according to Nielsen, he thought a mobile app giveaway to coincide with Taylor KIA’s TV and radio commercials would be a perfect fit.
Users download an application to their Smartphone and shake their phones every time they are prompted during Taylor KIA’s TV and Radio commercials now through the end of the year. With weekly winners and the grand prize, Taylor KIA is giving away over $20,000 in cash and prizes, including a 2012 Kia Soul.
