-- Dr. MIchael Wein, Chief of Allergy at Indian River Medical Center, will speak at the 2013 Annual Meeting of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology. The conference will focus on the treatment of allergic rhinitis with immunotherapy.
Dr. Michael Wein is board certified in Allergy and Immunology (also Internal Medicine), caring for both children and adults. He offers expert specialty care of allergies, asthma, hay fever (allergic rhinitis), cough, sinus problems, nasal polyps, hives, eczema, contact dermatitis (poison ivy, rash), insect allergies, food allergies, drug reactions, anaphylaxis (severe allergic reactions), and immune deficiency conditions. In addition, clinical research trials of new medications are conducted in the office for patients interested in participating. He is a graduate of Brown University (Magna Cum Laude) and completed his medical training at Johns Hopkins.
