Nu Flow Receives Hygienic Quality Mark for 7000 Epoxy
Nu Flow received the Hygienic Quality Mark for the compliance with the DM 174/2004 for Nu Flow's 7000 epoxy to be used in potable water pipes.
Nu Flow received the Hygienic Quality Mark for the compliance with the DM 174/2004 for Nu Flow's 7000 epoxy to be used in potable water pipes. The law is in compliance with the European Directive and rules of European Community. The certification is the only one that certifies both product and the procedures.
In order to obtain the certification, epoxy coated pipes were tested for Escherichia Coli at Calabria University, used by the Italian Ministry.
“The latest certification provides our partners and customers with third party testing, certifying our potable epoxy is recognized as safe for use within drinking water pipes by the European Directive,” said Nu Flow CEO Cameron Manners.
The Certification and the related Mark certifies Nu Flow’s potable epoxy is:
-Compliant with the specific European regulations in manufacturing and hygienic matter;
-Compliant and suitable materials intended for contact with food;
-Compliant components of the equipment in which food rests could deposit
