Nov. 28, 2012 - PRLog -- CHICAGO, IL. – The year-long Charity of the Month program at The Signature Room® was developed when Chicagoans Rick Roman and Nick Pyknis took ownership of The Signature Room at the 95th® and the Signature Lounge at the 96th® in 1993. Each year since then, 12 non-profits have been selected through an application process, and assigned a specific month of that year where they receive 10 percent of sales generated from the Signature Monthly Dinner Menu served in the main dining room. Since the program’s inception, over 200 Chicagoland non-profits have benefited and over $1 million dollars has been raised and donated.

“The Signature Room is a locally-owned and operated Chicago business that relies on its community and we feel privileged to give back to the organizations that support this area, providing enhancements and services to much-needed causes,” said Rick Roman, chairman and CEO of Infusion Management Group.

Each year, charities can apply for consideration to be part of the program between June and August. Information is available on the website. For 2013, the Charity of the Month recipients will be:
