Thanksgiving Charity Workout, Cherry Hill, NJ Raised $1,086
-- Cherry Hill, NJ
– Evolution Fitness of Cherry Hill, NJ is pleased to announce that they raised $1,086 from their Thanksgiving Charity Workout, aptly nicknamed “Turkey Burn”. The funds will be donated to the American Red Cross to aid in their Hurricane Sandy relief efforts here in New Jersey.
“We are so thankful to everyone who came out to support the cause. We can’t wait to present the check to the American Red Cross! It was a great workout, so much fun!” said Danielle Kane, co-owner of Evolution Fitness. “I couldn’t think of a better way to kick off Thanksgiving!”
chimed in David Duzenski, fellow co-owner, Evolution Fitness. “The Turkey Burn participants not only helped raise a lot of money for a worthy cause, they also began their day with a phenomenal, total body, fat-burning workout. That’s a great way to start any day, but especially Thanksgiving.”
The Turkey Burn workout, designed and coached by the team at Evolution Fitness, was similar to their group coaching classes, although it had a little extra something special because it was held outside. Like their classes, the workout was designed with the goals to burn fat, rev up the metabolic engine, tap the cardiovascular system, build strength, tone muscles, and get the body functionally fit. It included their pre- and post-workout foam rolling protocol, a dynamic warm-up, 2 circuits, and a metabolic finisher. Many participants also enjoyed a post-workout recovery shake from the Evo Smoothie Bar. All profits from shake bar sales that day are also being donated to the American Red Cross.
