Pro-Align showcases tomorrow’s technology, today!

Nov. 27, 2012 - PRLog -- Leading wheel alignment specialist Pro-Align has successfully completed its inaugural series of ‘Service Vision of Tomorrow…Today’ events, allowing workshop owners across the UK to experience the powerful capabilities and business transformation opportunities presented by two new innovative Hunter systems.

New for 2012, the five regional events were designed to illustrate how wheel servicing is likely to change in the coming years, but how equipment is already available to take advantage of these opportunities today.

“The response to our service vision events was incredibly positive,” explains Paul Beaurain, managing director, Pro-Align. “Many of the attendees were aware of the issues and challenges we presented and were over the moon that we are able to offer innovative equipment solutions to these challenges right away. It really has opened their eyes into a whole new world of possibilities”

Taking centre stage was the UK’s first ‘Drive thru’ Quick Check alignment system. The new Hunter system is intended to be used as a preliminary wheel alignment diagnostic system, helping workshops to pre-filter potentially misaligned cars, thereby maximising the utilisation of their main alignment system for revenue generating work.

Despite being the first time that attendees had used the equipment, a timed challenge saw competitors regularly completing the alignment check in less than a minute. Indeed, the fastest competitor across the five events, Ian Hutchinson from Grays Tyres, completed the Quick Check in just 45 seconds!

Meanwhile, the other new visionary equipment making its UK debut was Hunter’s Road Force Touch Balancer, whose unique features allow it to measure Road Force Variation and Lateral Force Measurement, helping to eradicate the most challenging wheel vibration issues.

“There’s no substitute to seeing how workshop equipment can perform in real-life situations,” continued Beaurain. “While these events were small in size, they were incredibly high in quality and really allowed us to discuss in depth the challenges that workshops are facing, and how our visionary approach can help them prosper.”
