Loudoun County, Virginia and Loudoun County Public Schools Awards ERP System Contract to AST

Nov. 26, 2012 - PRLog -- After a competitive bidding process, the Loudoun County, Virginia Board of Supervisors has awarded a three-year contract to Applications Software Technology Corporation (AST Corporation), to provide software, implementation and training services for delivery of a shared, state-of-the-art Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.

As the foundation for their ERP system, Loudoun County and Loudoun County Public Schools together selected Oracle E-Business Suite, Oracle Business Intelligence and Oracle Hyperion Performance Management, to comprise a system spanning business functionality including financial accounting and reporting, budgeting, advanced procurement, supply chain management, human resources, payroll, benefits, and business intelligence.  The shared ERP system will provide Loudoun County and Loudoun County Public Schools with greater business efficiencies and cost savings.  AST Corporation was selected, in part, due to its experience integrating distinct requirements to form an ERP system suitable for a multi-entity system.
