Kansas City based company prepares to celebrate 75th anniversary; Relocates North American HQ

Nov. 26, 2012 - PRLog -- KANSAS CITY, MO – Gallagher North America announced today that it will be celebrating its 75th anniversary next year and will be commemorating this landmark year by moving its North America headquarters to a brand new, state-of-the-art facility at Horizons Parkway and Northwest 41st Street located in Riverside, Missouri’s new Horizons Industrial Park.

The new location of 56,000 square feet that will house both offices and a distribution warehouse provides more room for expansion and space for storage of its product lines.  Gallagher North America employs 77 staff, 33 of which will be based at the new site.

Gallagher was founded in 1938 in New Zealand by Bill Gallagher Senior.  Originally, the core business was the development and manufacturing of electric fence applications, but today Gallagher also offers weighing, data collection and watering system solutions.  Believing that a company must look forward to innovation, represent only the best products and view every customer as a long-term partner, Bill created the foundation of what Gallagher is today - the leading provider of Animal Management solutions.

Construction is slated for completion in December of this year.  Gallagher North America plans to begin operating out of the new facility in January 2013.
