Follow on Google News | Musicline School Musicals are on the BBC.Musicline's popular school musical, Pirates of the Curry Bean, is featured in the BBC programme, the Pearson Teaching Awards.
The Teaching Awards recognise excellence in teachers, using a panel of independent judges to sift through thousands of candidates and choose particularly outstanding finalists. The swashbuckling musical adventure, Pirates of the Curry Bean, can be viewed around 26 minutes in as the children of Weston All Saints Primary School, Bath prepare for their end-of-term show. The school’s leader, Anne Bull, won the prestigious Headteacher of the year award. Dave Smith, managing director of Musicline said: “I am delighted that we featured on the Teaching Awards. The Awards recognise excellence and that's exactly what we try to achieve in our musicals. It was wonderful to see the children perform Pirates of the Curry Bean, I hope the parents enjoyed the show as much as we did." Other winners include Elizabeth Bailey from Clacton County High School for the Outstanding New Teacher of the Year and David Bonnington from Aylsham High School for the Teaching Assistant of the Year.
