Methodist ElderCare Services Hospice Fundraiser Scheduled for December 6

Nov. 24, 2012 - PRLog -- Columbus, OH (November 23, 2012) – Methodist ElderCare Services (MES) will host its annual Hospice fundraising event, A Reason to Remember, on Thursday, December 6 at Wesley Glen Retirement Community, 5155 North High St., Columbus, OH.

The event begins at 4:30 p.m. with the Memory Tree-Lighting Ceremony at 5:30 p.m.  Individuals have the opportunity to purchase Crystal Lenox Ornament to honor the memory of a loved one. Ornaments will be displayed on the Memory Tree, which has been generously donated by The Brickman Group, throughout the celebration.

Other activities include:

● Photos with Santa Claus
● Carolers from King Avenue United Methodist Church, Girl Scout Troop 2940 from Evening Street Elementary School and Clintonville Community Choir
● Live Nativity Scene
● Moxie Gift Shop from Clintonville will sell Christmas items. A portion of the proceeds will go to Hospice Services at MES
● Heavy hors d’ ouevres
