MoodMe meets the Gaming Industry in Luxembourg

Nov. 22, 2012 - PRLog -- MoodMe “Living Portraits” were introduced to the gaming industry last November 14th in Luxembourg to an audience of over 600 professionals from the Gaming, IT and Mobile sectors.

The mobile application developed by MoodMe (http://www.mood-me.com) impressed the attendees of the event by featuring a unique and patented technology which allows the creation of “living portraits” from a single frontal face picture and animating them with emotions in 3D. The integration of Living Portraits into games and gamified applications demonstrated its great potential of deeper engagement of gamers with a customized experience showcasing their own Living Portrait and their friends’ on mobile and web platforms.

MoodMe was also one of the companies invited to pitch in the PwC Accelerator session showcasing a winning start-up growth strategy which is reflected in the funding already received by angel investors and the recently established new office in Silicon Valley. Alessandro Ligi, MoodMe CIO who pitched in front of the investor audience in Luxembourg found this a “privileged opportunity to meet global minded investors operating from Luxembourg’s new gaming scene”.

Luxembourg has been making significant progresses in attracting and fostering ICT companies by providing them an efficient ecosystem suited with top-end technical infrastructures that are consistently positioning the country in the world map of the most promising start-ups. An example of this nurturing environment is expressed in the Europe4Startups programme to which MoodMe was selected and the agreement recently signed with PwC Accelerator which will provide an additional support in the fund seeking process.

The participation of MoodMe in the Luxembourg-Gaming fair followed a presentation held the day before in Turin (Italy) to a restricted audience of investors at the Italian Venture Forum.
