"Dream Santa is a social platform to essentially ask what the user wants for Christmas. The user can post anything they want. For example, a person can visit the site and login with their Facebook login or by registering. They then can post all i want for christmas is a "Xbox 360". Once they do they will be asked to fill out why Santa should grant their wish and what they are willing to offer in exchange for the gift donation . This story or offering is made public as part of the wish called "My Offering". It could also be a story of why  a user deserves the funding. Then the user with a push of a button can post the dream santa request on their facebook or twitter account, it will also be posted to the general public for offer. The best part about is that one giver doesn't have to buy the whole item, they can buy just part of it.

When a person posts what they want, they also assign a tangible value to the item. Take for example an XBox costs around 200.00 and people can give as little as 5.00 towards the user actually getting the item. If the user gets 40 people to gift them the getter gets the item. If the user doesn't achieve the entire amount the money towards the purchase of their gift the gift registry is left open until they do. If after 90 days of a request the wish still hasn't been granted it is removed from Dream Santa and all money is returned to the "Givers".

At no time on Dream Santa is your identity ever revealed without your express permission. If you decide to post the DreamSanta request to your facebook or other social networking sites it becomes your own responsibility. They do this to protect the identaties and contact information of our younger viewers. Since the site is open to children, Dream Santa does ask that parent supervision be required.

Each and every Dream Wishes is moderated by a 24/7 staff and at no time will the giver ever see your information on our website.
