-- 7Delta announced today that they were awarded a contract for the IRS Information Technology Services (ITS) Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA). To be responsive to changes in the tax law and to meet taxpayer expectations, the IRS will improve technology and mature supporting processes through this agreement. This 5-year contract may reach a total value of $150 million.
Michael Sawyers, President and CEO of 7Delta, explained, “7Delta is pleased to add this new Federal agency customer to our growing client portfolio, and we are proud to have the opportunity to provide staffing services and serve the needs of this important agency.”
The IRS and other Treasury bureaus are continually seeking ways to better meet management challenges in the growing variety of interfaces, increasing IT capabilities, demanding security needs, and rising expectations. Faced with shrinking budgets and growing demands for its services, the IRS and other Treasury bureaus have been seeking innovative, creative, and cost-effective solutions that address the rising cost of IT Consulting Services. This contract vehicle directly serves these needs, for short and long-term project requirements.
