e-ternity Announces Significant Enhancements to its Cloud Backup and Recovery Service

Their software platform is used by e-ternity’s cloud backup and recovery service.

e-ternity’s RecoveryCentre is a monthly cloud service that utilizes a sophisticated software platform from Asigra to perform online data backups.  This solution enables businesses to restore their computer systems to any location of their choice within a matter of hours.  e-ternity has been successfully selling this service since 2007.

In addition to the service’s current ability to protect data on any customer server and/or personal computer, e-ternity RecoveryCentre can now:

Protect data from cloud applications such as Salesforce.com, including accounts, contacts, leads, campaigns, and custom objects. When recovery is required, users have the option of recovering just the data or can recover both the schema and data. Users retain control of their Salesforce.com backup data and maintain security with AES 256 encryption in-flight and at-rest.

Offer enhanced mobile device support, including support for Windows, Linux, and Mac desktops and laptops, Android/iPad tablets, iPhones, and Android smartphones.  Enhancements include support for non-rooted Android devices for complete recovery of call logs, settings, applications, SD card data, calendar, alarm clock settings, music, SMS/MMS communications, bookmarks, photos and videos.

Provide advanced virtual disaster recovery for VMware environments and anytime/anywhere data recovery across the enterprise. The enhancements focus on the ability to instantly activate backup copies of data either onsite at the customer premise or in remote location.
