Baby of Dominic and Octavia Orchard
Blog written by Dominic and Octavia Orchard. they successfully became parents through our Surrogacy Program
According to Dr. Samit Sekhar, the month of October has been a very busy month with nine children being born through our Surrogacy Program only during the Month of October. The number of new footfalls of Parents who have been here for their initial visit was also too high and was on a rising trend from January 2012. Dr Samit Sekhar says that at KIC, we were determined to keep up to the rising expectations of all our Intended parents and successful Parent as-well as ensure that we do not compromise on quality, standards, and are able to maintain the same time frame for Embryo Transfers for Fresh Cases and also keep up to the commitments of Transfers for Old cases as-well.
Dr. Samit who heads the Surrogacy Program at KIC stated that, with the quantum of footfalls increasing month on month, number of Ovum Pick Up processes and subsequent Embryo Transfers have also increased, thereby increasing the requirements in number of Surrogate Mothers and Donors, Dr. Samit Sekhar further adds that, we were anticipating such increase in number of Intended Parents and already had started preparing for it from September 2011 itself and are able to meet the demand and ensure that the Embryo Transfers take place on a committed time.
Parenthood or being a parent is a cherished dream for each and every individual and unable to conceive or become a parent due to various reasons is still considered as a Taboo in different societies. Various reasons like Late Marriages, Stress, lifestyle changes, and changing social structure across globe where same sex relationships are being recognized and are becoming more socially acceptable have led to increase in percentages of people with infertility issues and also has fuelled the demand for ART Techniques. ART Techniques play a major role in helping such people and assisting them in realizing their long cherished dream of Parenthood. Being a part of the process which brings smile to the face of such people who would never have realized their dream of parenthood without the help of ART Techniques and being a part of this process gives me satisfaction both professionally and personally says Dr. Samit Sekhar
Dr. Samit Sekhar adds most people like to keep their stories to themselves, but there are few parents who are so delighted and they share their story with others to encourage and educate other Intended Parents.
Dr. Samit Sekhar cites the blog of Dominic and Octavia Orchard, one of the successful parents at KIC. The link to the blog is as mentioned below. Here, Dominic and Octavia have shared their experience with us, their personal views on various stake holders in this Surrogacy journey, their side of story. In today’s world of Surrogacy wherein you are in your home thousands of miles away from the clinic where Surrogate Mother for your case resides or is undergoing treatment such blogs help many people in taking a right decisions. Dr. Samit Sekhar adds reading this blog gives me satisfaction and assurance that we are going on a right path and encourages me to put more efforts to deliver better efforts. There is no better medium of communication than a true success story, most of our newly enrolled Intended Parents have come to us as they have heard good things about us, our results speak for the efforts we have put and this attracts the people to us.
Dr. Samit Sekhar would also like to thank all the Intended Parents/ Successful Parents who have spoken about us in different forums, referred or introduced us to new people, helped us in bringing cheer to lives of other people.
