“Customers now come into our showrooms for fuel economy, and we’re delivering with six vehicles that offer 40 mpg or better, including the new C-MAX Hybrid at 47 mpg combined, with another two on the way by year’s end.”

One of the more interesting statistics from last month’s sales results was that 60 percent of customers purchased Ford’s C-Max SEL model, according to Yahoo Finance. A model which offers a ton of bells and whistles like: Intelligent Access with push-button start, rain-sensing wipers, heated seats, SYNC with MyFord Touch, ambient lighting and the Reverse Sensing System standard.

The fight for Hybrid dominance is far from over and with only one month of sales reported its hard to tell who will come out on top, but it’s good to see an underdog like the Ford C-Max giving the dominate Prius a run for its money.
