Online Photo Contest Campaign Kicked Off to Celebrate the “Work” Pets Do
PetCareRx.com and DogWork.com Facebook pages encourage users to submit pictures of their pet “working” for a chance to win a year of free dog or cat food.
How it works: Every week until December 1st, 2012 DogWork.com and PetCareRx.com will choose three winners to receive a month supply of FREE dog food. Then there will be a voting period from December 1st-7th for fans to choose their favorite submissions. After the finalists have been chosen, one lucky winner will be randomly selected to receive a grand prize: a one-year supply of free dog or cat food.
“Our goal is to receive 5,000 contest entries,” says PetCareRx.com CMO, Lutz Braum. “If we get 5,000 entries, we will also donate a one-month supply of food to the hardworking dogs at ECAD which stands for Educated Canines Assisting with Disabilities.”
ECAD’s mission is to educate and place Assistance Dogs with people with disabilities so they will have greater independence and mobility. To date, ECAD has placed over 200 Assistance Dogs in 20 states and has about 50 dogs in various stages of their education. The organization was founded by Dale and Lu Picard in 1995 and received its non-profit status in 1995. As a non-profit, ECAD relies on corporations like PetCareRX.com and individuals to fund its mission. Learn more at http://www.ecad1.org/
