Machete Expert Wishes the USMC its 237th Birthday

On the 10th of November, the USMC celebrated its 237th birthday. Konstantine La discusses the history of this special event.
Nov. 21, 2012 - PRLog -- Konstantine La, author of 2 different survivalist sites and a veteran of the US Army, wishes the USMC its 237th birthday. On the 10th of November, the United States Marine Corps celebrated the 237th founding of its service. Celebrations are held all around the world on different naval bases, ships, forts, and veteran centers. This is also the day before veterans day.

The USMC has a strong tradition of celebrating the Marine Corps birthday. Things include a cake cutting ceremony, a dance, and even a fashion show. Some bases invite the oldest Marine in town to participate in the ceremony.

In, Konstantine noted how, last year, 2010, many celebrities attended the Marine Corps Ball. Stars included Justin Timberlake and Mila Kunis. The stars were invited to the ball via YouTube.

JT stated that he really enjoyed the event. Mila Kunis wow'ed the troops with her good looks. She did not make any official statements about the event. Mila Kunis did state she learned a lot about the USMC.
