-- New designers can’t always afford to hire a sales rep or showroom. So, the next best option for them would be to learn how to sell their line themselves. “How To Sell Your Fashion Line To Buyers and Retailers”
acts as an affordable solution that will teach attendees the most effective approach in finding, courting, and selling to retailers. Facilitating the workshop will be Mary Vallarta

, global brand manager of Munitio
, Daisy Hutton
, Senior Buyer of Nasty Gal
, and Enrico Moses

. Walia has 7 years of experience in fashion sales & marketing. He is currently responsible for opening and maintaing lifestyle boutique accounts, online accounts and major accounts like Nordstroms and Zumiez. “How To Sell Your Fashion Line To Buyers and Retailers” is the first class within FAB Counsel’s Fashion Business Course. Aside from providing Retail & Brand Consulting, Merchandising Services, and Fashion-Focused Social Media to fashion-driven companies, FAB Counsel is also making it a point to educate individuals in the business side of fashion. Some class topics to look forward to in the future are Marketing For Designers, Increase Store Sales Using Social Media, and The Importance of Clear Branding for Your Fashion Business. “People need to understand that fashion isn’t just about style and trends. Succeeding in it is also about business and strategy,” says Mary Vallarta of FAB Counsel.
FAB Counsel is a solution provider for retailers, brands, designers, and new fashion startups that don’t want to hire full-time executives. “Why should big retailers and brands be the only ones to have access to fashion retail experts? New brands and stores are born everyday. They need proper guidance in building their fashion business too. That’s why I created FAB Counsel. I don’t like to think of us as just a consulting company. We’re more than that. We’re educators, counsels, who provide fashion business knowledge to our clients and the world,” says Mary Vallarta.
