Nov. 19, 2012 - PRLog -- Today, founders of one of Africa's largest social networking website Ladies And Gentlemen book (popularly known as LAGbook) appoints Josh Osemwegie as the Chief Executive Officer of the online dating utility DateSteady, a social dating utility initially released as a social dating application on LAGbook, but later lauched as an independent website was founded by Chidi and Chika Nwaogu on 17th November 2012.

According to Chika Nwaogu, Co-founder of DateSteady and LAGbook, "Though Josh is the CEO of DateSteady, He will remain with us at LAGbook as CFO"

Chika continued, "I see no other better candidate for the job other than Josh Osemwegie because He is a great decision maker and have strong leadership characteristics and I am positive that I will be leaving my company in the right hands."

"Josh will be choosing those he will be working with on the DateSteady project and will report at the end of every quarter his progress to the rest of the DateSteady Board", says Chidi Nwaogu, Co-founder of DateSteady and LAGbook.

Chidi continued, "The DateSteady project is still nascent, and my twin and I want to fully focus our energy on LAGbook. So, we have decided to put Josh in charge of the DateSteady project. Josh will be in charge of the daily operations at DateSteady, while my twin and I will make sure the bills are paid".

"Being CEO of DateSteady will be challenging considering it is new and just beginning to grow. But, I'm ready for whatever challenge it brings. I have never headed operations of an online social utility, so I hope to acquire more skills and experience in the course of being CEO at DateSteady", says Josh Osemwegie, CEO at DateSteady and CFO at LAGbook.

Josh continued, "Being appointed CEO is a honour, and one I intend to uphold".

In just 2 years, LAGbook has become Africa's largest and fastest growing social networking website with over 600,000 registered users and 6,000 daily new-signups.
