Daegis Adds Experienced Business Development Managers to its eDiscovery Leadership Team

Nov. 19, 2012 - PRLog -- SAN FRANCISCO – Daegis , a leading provider of eDiscovery software and services, today announced that Jeff Herron, Don Ryan, Kam O’Keefe, Esq., and Pamela Keller have joined Daegis as Regional Business Development Managers. Herron will serve the Northwest region, Ryan and O’Keefe will serve in the Northeast region, and Keller will serve the Southeast region. Each brings tremendous experience and industry contacts to their position and will be responsible for managing all aspects of the sales cycle from prospecting through contract negotiations.

Herron, responsible for the Northwest Territory, is a seasoned sales representative with a proven track record of growing annual revenue through new client acquisition. Prior to joining Daegis, he spent five years as the Director of eDiscovery Sales for Orange Legal Technologies. He has previously worked as a litigation paralegal for Parsons Behle & Latimer for 15 years, where he gained extensive litigation support experience, and has also served as a sales manager for the Litigation Document Group and as a project manager for Case Data.

Responsible for the Northeast Territory, Ryan rejoins Daegis bringing over 15 years of business development experience in the eDiscovery and archiving industries. Most recently, he was an Archive Sales Specialist with Proofpoint. From 2009 to June 2012, he served as the Northeast Regional Manager for Daegis. During his tenure at Daegis, Ryan grew revenues in his territory and established long-term, subscription-based client relationships with prominent law firms in the region.

Additionally serving the Northeast Territory, O’Keefe, is an executive business development and marketing professional with more than 18 years of legal services experience. Most recently, O’Keefe was Client Director – Legal Services Outsourcing for CPA Global NA. She has also served in executive positions with Verdatum, LLC, Royal Philips Electronics N.V. and Deloitte Consulting. A well-known industry expert, O’Keefe is a frequent speaker on association panels, forums and government symposiums relating the enterprise legal spend management, legal workflow and outsourcing.

Keller, who will oversee the Southeast Territory, brings 20 years of experience in the legal industry including 10 years in management, project management, training, and support.  Most recently, she was with iConect Development, where she was responsible for selling to law firms and corporations for the Central U.S. and the UK, and where she closed the largest deal in the company’s history.
