Nov. 19, 2012 - PRLog -- Veterans Commemoratives, located in Wayne, Pennsylvania was founded in 1987 with a stated mission of creating unique, highly personalized products designed exclusively to honor United States Active and Veteran Service Men and Women.

Products include Military Service Branch and Military War Service rings, watches, sculptures, medallions, jackets, collector knifes, plates and plaques. Each product is personalized with the Veteran’s choices of Service Emblems, Career Insignia, War Medals and Ribbons, personal birthstones and Honor awards.

All branches of Service, (Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, Coast Guard and Merchant Marines,) and all Wars and Military actions (WWII, Korean Service, Vietnam, Desert Storm, Afghanistan and Iraq,) are represented in each product category. Honor recipients (Purple Heart, Bronze Star, and Silver Star) may have their Medals and Ribbons represented on their Veterans Commemorative products.

Veterans Commemoratives also advertises in Military publications, including American Legion, VFW, Naval Affairs (FRA), Leatherneck, Semper Fi (MCL), Air Force Sergeants, American Veteran (AMVET), WWII, Vietnam, Military History, NCOA Journal and Graybeards, as well through endorsed mailings with Veterans organizations such as The Honor Society of American Veterans and The Korean War Veterans Association.

The creation of Veterans Commemoratives was inspired by the founder’s father, who proudly served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and upon his return worked with local Veteran’s groups, law enforcement and rehabilitation organizations to assist those in need of their charitable good works.

Special commemorative products are created for clients for use in worthy fundraisers. Currently Veterans Commemoratives is working with The Battleship New Jersey Museum and Memorial to raise funds to replace the ships decking. A special commemorative plaque, consisting of a historic picture of the ship in action, a piece of original deck and a brass, serially-numbered nameplate, is presented those who donate at a designated high-donor level. These plaques are now available on the new Veterans Commemoratives website, and this program will continue throughout 2012 and 2013 in conjunction with other initiatives.

In 2012 a unique watch and ring was designed to honor members of the 40 & 8 Honor Society of American Veterans. It is currently available and is also featured on the Veterans Commemoratives website.

All Veterans Commemoratives products, as well as news articles of special interest for active and retired Military Veterans are now available online at http://www.vetcom.com/.  Read about a special Marine Corps Lt. Colonel who served at the Pentagon on 9/11/01and the events that followed and continue to this day.

We look forward to helping to honor those who proudly served, and continue to defend our Country.
