San Diego Venture Group Chooses Three Finalists for PitchFest 2012 Dinner Event

Nov. 19, 2012 - PRLog -- SAN DIEGO – November 19, 2012 – Three of San Diego’s most innovative and fundable companies, Blurtopia (http://www.blurtopia.com/), Cypher Genomics (http://www.cyphergenomics.com/), and GroundMetrics (http://www.groundmetrics.com/) will compete to win their share of $17,500 at San Diego Venture Group (http://www.sdvg.org)’s PitchFest 2012 event Thursday, December 13.

The prize money will be used by these companies to support their business development and growth.

“PitchFest has really gained momentum in the last year and we’ve narrowed down the finalists from more than 100 candidates,” stated David Titus, SDVG President.  “Our team of judges had tough decisions to make.”  

The eleven semi-finalists for PitchFest 2012 were selected from the more than 100 nominee applications for their innovation, investor appeal and progress. The panel of judges who selected the semi-finalists is comprised of a group of San Diego’s leading entrepreneurs, professionals and investors.  The eleven semi-finalists were:
