Beatles-A-Rama!!! Owner Pat Matthews Rocks the Internet for 10 years

Nov. 19, 2012 - PRLog -- Beatles-A-Rama!!! (http://www.beatlesarama.com), the 24/7 internet radio station devoted to the music of The Beatles was started in 2001 by actor/voiceover artist Pat Matthews (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0558686/) of Los Angeles, CA. and includes The Beatles hits, their solo music, Beatlesque music, along with bands that were influenced by and were an influence on the Beatles themselves.  

Patrick Matthews’ professional foray into radio began in the summer of 1970, as a part-time DJ in Harvey, Louisiana and since then, he's never looked back.  In early 1964, Pat attended a party where The Beatles’ I Want To Hold Your Hand was played over and over…no one had even heard of The Beatles at the time, but he knew he was hooked on the Fab Four!  With the take-off of internet radio in the late 90's, Pat found his niche in Beatles-A-Rama!!!, which over the past decade has grown to over 30,000 daily listeners. In July 2006, Beatles-A-Rama!!! was included in a write-up about internet radio in Rolling Stone.  

In 2008, as Pat Matthews was growing Beatles-A-Rama!!! – a completely self-funded venture – he was faced with a personal health crisis when he was diagnosed with prostate cancer. Over the next four years and throughout the subsequent surgeries, medical bills, and the physical and emotional stress of the illness, Pat continued to find solace in his work at Beatles-A-Rama!!!  He continued to produce the daily programming, and the weekly 2 hour Sunday morning program that streams to listeners all over the globe 24-hours/day.

Beatles-A-Rama!!! owner Pat Matthews recently began a restructuring of the station by adding MoonGlow PR to handle PR and hiring new on-air personalities to add to the station’s weekly talent line-up including well-known radio DJ Jim ‘The Poorman’ Trenton, a one hour show featuring Beatles expert and author Jude Southerland Kessler and Radio Hall of Famer Gary Burbank.  Keeping up with the times, a Beatles-A-Rama!!! iPhone app was created for Beatles’ fans to listen to Beatles-A-Rama from anywhere in the world.
