Nov. 19, 2012 - PRLog -- Albatross Travel to Romania is now presenting you an interview of mr. Gh. Fodoreanu, President of Invest Group:
"Q: - How do you appreciate this year's sells in comparison with 2011 and how do you explain this evolution?
A: - North African crisis helped incoming tourism in Europe. The sales and number of tourists are equal to those from 2011 but the reservations and solicitations for 2013 are growing.
Q: - How are the foreign tourists attracted in Romania?
A: - Plenty, depends of their country but the best destinations still are Danube Delta, Bucovina, Maramures and Transylvania. I think that the offers like Transylvania Branch have a great future.
Q: - What are the appreciations and opinions of tourists after visiting Romania?
A: - Positive opinions, there is a big difference between the image of Romania abroad and reality.
Q: - How can the incoming tourism in Romania be helped to perform better?
A: - First of all a highway from Budapest - Bucharest - Constanta and the promotion of Romania to be done through the right ways so that the message could address to the final buyer.
Q: - Speaking about the flight charter from Germany to Constanta, Romania, which is the actual situation of this problem, how many tourists arrive at the seaside every week, how many have been so far and how many will come this season?
A: - German tourists arrive both with Air Berlin at Kogalniceanu, landing at noon, as well as with Condor in the evening. The entire project is dynamic, requiring more input from us, both organizational and numbers of personnel involved in the whole process. To have positive results, we respect this Pausal or package type specificity of this tour operator and impose the same standards recognized also in other summer destinations by Thomas Cook brand. Brought through us, at the seaside arrive between 100 and 300 foreign tourists per week, of which one part by plane and a good part of individual stay by car. During peak in early July, we had weeks with 400 tourists concentrated in the southern part of the coast. We forecast up to end of the season around 2,000 foreign tourists, amounting to overall, since the beginning of the season, about 5 thousand tourists.
Q: - The Romanian product sells primarily on German and Polish market, representing 90% of the foreign tourists, to which we add tourists from Austria, Czech Republic, Hungary. Many of the German tourists already know the destination and are willing to comeback or have Romanian nationality and real expectations regarding hoteliers services. Polish tourists are also willing to know the Romanian Riviera and come with a new customer enthusiasm, interested in our destinations. Is also worth mentioning that they, like the Germans, want to see more from Romania and participate with great interest at the trips organized by our agency."
