-- Competing with almost two thousand companies from around the world, the campaign aiming to raise awareness on testicular cancer dubbed “Check them”, was awarded in the category “Media lions for best communication campaign integrated in the media - Best use of ambient media”, McCann Erickson Skopje realised in Macedonia.
The Golden Lion is the most prestigious advertising award in the world and represents the very best quality among submitted works.

At the official ceremony that took place in the most famous festival town in southern France, Cannes, the founder and president of the McCann Grupa, Srdjan Saper, the managing director of McCann Erickson Skopje, Vlatko Dimovski and Creative director Ivica Spasovski accepted this valuable Golden Lion award, in front of more than one thousand reputable attendees and representatives of major global media outlets.
All important global advertisers, brands, communications experts, celebrities and distinguished individuals in global advertising and the media world, attended the closing gala of the 56th International Advertising Festival.
The campaign aiming to raise awareness on testicular cancer received great media attention in the past period, and won important awards at world festivals: it was short-listed at the Golden Drum festival and it won the Audience Award outside the official competition, it received the Golden Award at the Golden Hammer festival, and gold at the Media Festival in Valencia.
