7Deta’s President and CEO, Michael Sawyers, was presented with the 2012 Maryland Technology Entrepreneur of the Year award during a ceremony at Howard Community College. This exclusive award is presented to only one technology company in Maryland and is sponsored by Maryland Entrepreneur Quarterly, a publication of The Business Monthly; the Maryland Center for Entrepreneurship (MCE); and the Howard Tech Council.
Mr. Sawyers founded 7Delta in 2005 and has grown the company to more than 290 employees and consultants. Upon receiving this award, Mr. Sawyers stated, “7Delta’s core business is the people we provide to our clients. As such, we have invested in the organization to establish a core set of values that are intrinsic to the services we perform.”
7Delta was selected in part because of tremendous growth, more than tripling the company’s revenue and the number of employees in just one year. Mike Sawyers added, “Our focus on values, including integrity, flexibility, and commitment is reflected in all of 7Delta’s service offerings and in our corporate principles: agility, innovation, and commitment. This award is a reflection of how our staff exemplifies these values to our employees, partners, and clients every day.”
7Delta, Inc., a verified Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), is a leading provider of information technology services to the Civilian and Defense sectors of the U.S. Government.
