Nissan of Elk Grove Participates in Sacramento Sheriff's Toy Project

Nov. 16, 2012 - PRLog -- Donation boxes for The Sheriff's Toy Project are available in the Nissan of Elk Grove dealership located at 8590 Laguna Grove Drive, Elk Grove, CA 95757.

The Sheriff's Toy Project provides a connection between law enforcement, people in need and those in the community capable of giving. The Toy Project is an innovative collaboration between peace officers, non-profit agencies, private donors and businesses. The project was created to better serve less fortunate children and families. The initiative has been in existence since 1984.

Deputy Sheriff's and Sheriff volunteers distribute donated items to the community. Though much of the Toy Project efforts have been focused on the Christmas Season, they are now providing for children, schools and well over 20 non-profit organizations throughout the year.

Donations can be made during normal business hours of 7AM - 9PM Monday - Friday, 7AM - 8PM Saturday and 10Am - 7PM Sunday.
