-- Virtual brokerages have sprung up in many markets, but Florida broker Jeff Beggins sees an opportunity for a new type of virtual company, one that combines a creative approach with an old name.
Beggins, head of 250-agent Century 21 Beggins Enterprises in Apollo Beach, FL, calls his approach "global brand, virtual platform."
Beggins operates five brick-and-mortar offices in the Tampa area, but tells Real Estate Broker's Insider
that he's expanding to other parts of Florida with a high-split offering modeled in part on the growing popularity of virtual companies.
For each transaction, agents pay a transaction fee of $295, plus an 8 percent franchise fee. Beyond that, the only expense is a $149-a-month desk fee.
Details on Beggins' approach and what's next for Century 21 Beggins Enterprises appears in the November issue of Real Estate Broker's Insider
