Denise Massey, managing director of the Energy Innovation Centre, said: “The awards provide an excellent opportunity to showcase creative talent and innovative thinking in front of an influential audience, while also being a shop window for more developed concepts.
“Our network partners are committed to identifying and developing technologies from around the world that can transform today’s energy networks, so it’s a great arena for enterprising innovators to meet and share ideas.
“There is no requirement to have worked with EIC before - our aim is simply to provide a platform for the very best that the UK’s energy innovation community has to offer and perhaps even discover the next big thing.
“Winning a UK Energy Innovation Award could offer innovative businesses or individuals a chance to achieve a step change in their business and accelerate their ideas towards market success.”
