Nov. 15, 2012 - PRLog -- NEWPORT, CALIF. – OC METRO magazine, Orange County’s premier business and lifestyle publication, has named Patrick O’Neill, CEO and founder of olloclip, to OC METRO MAGAZINE’S Hot 25 List for 2012. http://www.ocmetro.com/t-Cover-Story-HOT-25-for-2012-15-Patrick-ONeill-Olloclip-iPhone-photo-lens-accessory.aspx

Each year, OC METRO magazine selects and celebrates a group of individuals whose accomplishments have shaped Orange County rich and diverse industries such as business, media, technology, healthcare, as well as transportation. Throughout the year, OC METRO’s editorial staff collects nominations and scours submissions until the time comes to determine the leaders worthy of securing a spot on the 23rd annual Hot 25 List featured as the cover story in the November 2012 issue of the magazine.

The Hot 25 honorees, according to Steve Churm, CEO of Churm Media (http://www.churmmedia.com/) and publisher of OC METRO, are “movers and shakers – the people shaping business, social, educational and philanthropic circles throughout Orange County.”

"It is a great honor to be recognized by OC METRO magazine as one of the top business leaders in the region," said Patrick O'Neill, CEO of olloclip. "As someone who lives and works in Huntington Beach, I am flattered to be recognized for helping to shape the Orange County technology industry."

In 2011, Patrick used Kickstarter.com (http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/patricko/olloclip-iph...) to successfully launch the olloclip, a 3-in-1 photo lens for the iPhone that includes a fisheye, wide-angle and macro lens in one small, convenient package. The company received funding within four weeks -- achieving 455 percent of their $15,000 funding goal, and finishing among the top-40 highest funded projects for that time period.

One year later, the award-winning olloclip is now sold in more than 90 countries and growing, and available through top retailers like Apple, Best Buy, Target, and at www.olloclip.com. The company has received numerous accolades and awards including WIRED’s Editor's Pick for “iPhone Lens (http://www.wired.com/gadgetlab/2012/05/iphone-photo-accessories-which-gadgets-are-best/)” and CES 2013 Innovation Award Honoree.

Now that olloclip has reached the one-year mark in its journey, Patrick reports that his next big goal is to continue expanding the business and introduce other great products that inspire people to make great art.
