Lovering Volvo in Meredith Supports the Bids for Kids Holiday Auction and Dinner

Featuring both silent and live auctions, a Heads or Tails Competition, and a Shine and Sparkle raffle, this event is a great way to kick off the holiday season.

One of the Premier Partners of Partners 4 Kids, Lovering Volvo in Meredith has supported the Bids for Kids auction since 1998, with cumulative contributions totaling $175,910 since that time. The auction will bring together 250 people in support of the Boys and Girls Club.


Among the items up for auction this year are jewelry, art, limited edition sports memorabilia, golf clubs and packages, trips to the Bahamas, a New York City getaway with tickets to The Late Show with David Letterman, and much more. The evening also includes a cocktail reception and a surf-and-turf dinner.


The Boys and Girls Club of Greater Nashua provides recreation, companionship, and more to help young people grow into responsible, caring adults who contribute to the community. What they provide is not just a hangout for kids, but a place where they can do their homework, express themselves through the arts, develop social skills, participate in games and athletics, and interact with caring adult mentors; the Club also provides camp programs during the summer months.


Serving more than 3,300 kids each year with activities, programs, and services, the primary goal of the Boys and Girls Club is to see that young people achieve their full potential as productive and responsible members of the community.


Every dollar raised by the annual Bid for Kids Holiday Auction directly impacts the lives of children in the greater Nashua area. Corporate sponsors such as Lovering Volvo of Meredith, along with individual supporters, are an important part of the ongoing success of the Club, and events such as Bids for Kids are essential to keeping their programs and services available to all children.


The 2012 Bids for Kids holiday auction and dinner starts at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, December 1, at Sky Meadow Country Club on Mountain Laurel Drive. Tickets are $125 per person, or $1,100 for a table of ten.
