Cadence Group® President Tina Baker to Speak at National Foundation for Women Legislators (NFWL)

Nov. 15, 2012 - PRLog -- ATLANTA – On Friday, November 16, 2012 Tina Teree Baker will speak on behalf of Women in Public Policy (WIPP) for a special program on economic matters at NAWL’s annual meeting.  For 74 years, these events have provided elected women an opportunity to collaborate on critical issues that are important to their constituents. The conference provides women from all levels of government with the tools and connections necessary to pursue their legislative goals and make a difference in their communities.  Baker was chosen to lead her session based on her experience as a successful small business owner and advocate.

Baker is a former National Partner and Georgia Chair for WIPP, a national nonpartisan public policy organization.   An advocate for women and minorities in business in the legislative processes of our nation, Baker works with WIPP and NAWL to create economic opportunities and alliances for other small business organizations. She will lead a roundtable discussion titled: “The Economic Blueprint: Economic Issues that Matter to Women Small Business Owners.”  Through the economic blueprint and discussions surrounding the concept, the group hopes to provide a common vision for a new, more diversified and stronger economy and ultimately an action plan for providing prosperity women small business owners.
