A fresh new website, authorsinafrica.com has been launched with the main intention to unite writers (of all genres) of African origins. On it, African authors get to spotlight themselves, their works, their experiences and their achievements.

Asked about it, the editor, Ms. Annabelle said: “African authors have been cheated out of the recognition they deserve for a long time, and I must say that the blame lies with us Africans first and foremost. We’ve not done very much to advance ourselves on an international scale. So many works which are worthy of international acclaim go unnoticed outside of the continent.
