PRLog -- Pinehill have opened their brand new shiny reception area, the first phase in their re-development plans. The change has doubled the size of reception and made the area a more open and relaxing place for patients. A porch was also added to protect patients (and the staff) from the elements. Pinehill is just waiting for the plants and pictures to be delivered and the area will be complete. Part of the refurbishment saw the Pharmacy move to the Lower Ground floor giving them an area four times the size of their old home. The next stage will see the bedrooms converted into five star accommodation including brand new wet rooms, carpets and furnishings. The workmen have started on the bedrooms and the plan is that everything should be completed by Christmas. Paul Tempest, General Manager at Pinehill said “It is a testament to the great staff we have here at Pinehill that the hospital remained open and fully functioning during this refurbishment. This was very difficult especially for the Pharmacy and the Reception staff. I would like to thank them for their patience but I think they will agree that it was worth the wait. We now have a far nicer working environment and a more professional image to portray to our patients”.
