-- The massage industry has grown tremendously in the past several years. Once a treatment reserved for luxury, massage has developed into a health necessity.
There are many benefits to massage. It increases circulation, decreases tension, and helps the mind and body cope with the everyday stresses of life. It can also play an important role in recovering from an injury and help reduce the build up of scar tissue formation post-surgery. In this economy massage can take a back seat to self care, but I encourage all my clients to get a massage at least once a month. Your mind and body deserve it.
Services are provided at corporate offices, trade shows, backstage events, on set for tv & film locations, hotel conventions, in-room at hotels, sporting events, in-home to private clients, or at any event location.
The demand for massage in the workplace has increased. Corporate offices have come to realize the benefits of bringing chair massage into the workplace. The increase in employee morale and productivity benefit both the company and the employee when receiving these services on a regular basis. Due to the increase in employee morale it creates a more peaceful work environment. Employees are more appreciative and more responsible. In addition to having better attitudes, massage in the workplace can aid in the prevention of workplace injuries. When I talk with clients prior to giving a massage, one of the biggest complaints I hear is having neck and upper back pain due to sitting behind a desk in a repetitive position daily. There is also the issue of carpal tunnel. With the constant use of computers, cell phones, etc. hands and forearms are used constantly. Pain and increased stress levels can lead to so many health issues. When people are in pain, they are likely to dwell on that pain, which creates a more pessimistic attitude, and can lead to depression. It becomes a cycle of pain that is hard to overcome. Employees tend to use more sick days when stress has built up to the point of burn out. Bringing chair massage into the workplace helps in all these areas and is an ideal solution for improving your workplace atmosphere. Reward your employees for their hard work and reward yourself with the increase in business productivity.
