Rhythm & Ghetto Soul Artist (Slique) Jay Adams Nominated for the 32nd Annual Chicago Music Awards

One of Chicago's hottest soul balladeers (Slique) Jay Adams has been nominated three times for the 32nd Annual Chicago Music Awards. Other nominations include rapper Kanye West, Sugar Blue, Latin Artist Gueroloco and R&B Artist John Blu.
 
Nov. 14, 2012 - PRLog -- More nominations are listed on the Chicago Music Awards website. The Awards ceremony will take place on January 20, 2013 at the Copernicus Center in Chicago. Doors open at 6 p.m. with the celebrity red carpet reception.

Dominion Music Group Artist (Slique) Jay Adams hails from ot only the West Side of Chicago but also from the Englewood community, a community on the Southwest side of Cook County Chicago, both commonly known for its ties to violence.  Jay states, “I want people to know that my music comes from a real place”. He wants people to understand that he is not so far removed from where he came from. Friends and loved ones who currently reside in these communities are still very much apart of his life.
