DBL Surety Creates Streamlined Application For Florida Sub 660 Contractor License Bonds
DBL Surety has created a streamlined contractor license bond application for Florida contractors with credit scores less than 660. The new contractor license bond application allows DBL Surety to approve and issue your license bond the same day!
The bond amount required by the Florida Construction Industry Licensing Board is dependent on whether you hold a division I or II construction license. Division I licensees are applying for or currently hold a general contractor license, building contractor license, or residential contractor license. Division II licensees are applying for or currently hold a contractor license which is anything other than a division I contractor license.
Division I contractor licensees are required to post a $20,000 contractor license surety bond to the Construction Industry Licensing Board. Division II contractor licensees are required to post a $10,000 contractor license bond. However, DBL Surety can help reduce the required surety bond amount in half! You only need to take a 14 hour financial responsibility class which can be found here (http://www.dblsurety.com/
Always at the forefront of the surety bond industry, DBL Surety began writing the Division I and II Contractor License Bonds immediately following Florida's publication of the surety bond requirement. We were able to find several surety bond companies who were willing to write the license bond at an affordable rate for our contractors. Combined with our affordable rates, DBL Surety also accepts all major credit cards as a form of payment!
