Boundary Systems Provides Objet Connex500 to rp+m

Nov. 14, 2012 - PRLog -- CLEVELAND, OH –  Boundary Systems provided rapid prototype and manufacturing (rp+m), located in Avon Lake, Ohio, with Objet’s Connex500, the largest poly-jet rapid prototyping machine available in the world today.  

rp+m, a product development and prototyping company, expanded their capabilities by purchasing the  Connex500.  With this 3D printer, rp+m is able to simulate an overmold or 2 shot process using Objet’s hard and soft touch material as well as run up to 14 materials in a single build.  The Connex500 can also print with nearly clear, transparent material.  

rp+m is a sister company of Thogus, an engineering company whose expertise is in plastic injection molding.  rp+m became its own entity in 2011 due to the growing demand of rapid prototyping.   With a team of engineers, rp+m can turn a napkin sketch idea into a part you can touch and feel.

rp+m and Thogus chose Boundary Systems for this capital expansion due to its extensive knowledge, service and support of Objet machines.  Thogus and Boundary Systems will partner on events and projects going forward, including working with high schools and universities.
