Lennar Shines at Greater Atlanta Home Builder Association's OBIE Awards
Strong Showing Mirrors Relative Newcomer's Success in Atlanta's Competitive New Home Market
The relative newcomer to Atlanta’s housing market earned the Sales Manager and Marketing Director of the Year honors along with Gold awards for Best TV Spot and Best Builder Marketing Campaign, and a Silver award for Best Interactive Tool. Not bad for a company that only began building in the Atlanta market in 2010.

Lennar’s Director of Sales & Marketing Ginny Bryant earned Sales Manager of the Year honors for her remarkable performance during Lennar’s breathtaking ramp-up in Atlanta. Under her leadership Lennar more than doubled the size of its sales team, eventually closing more than 230 homes totaling over $59 million in sales volume over a 12-month period. Earning Marketing Director of the Year accolades was Rose Humphrey, who not only supported Lennar’s rapid expansion in Atlanta but also implemented the company’s highly successful “Paint the Town Blue” rebranding effort.
The Gold award for Best TV Spot recognized Lennar’s campaign featuring local media personality Tom Sullivan with Bryant as co-star to promote the company’s signature Everything’s Included® program, which provides luxury features in select Lennar communities included in the base price of the home rather than being offered as expensive upgrades.
The Gold for Best Builder Marketing campaign honored Lennar’s “Paint the Town Blue” effort in which the company completely changed its identity from black and red to blue and white. The Silver award for Best Interactive Tool celebrated Lennar’s Facebook Fan Page, which has seen a steady uptick in followers and continues to produce direct sales inquiries from consumers.
