-- With the winter holidays approaching, Author Kenni York has created a fun and exciting opportunity for families. The Best Selling Author is hosting a one week writing camp via her company Kenni Enterprises LLC, The Exploratory Writers Division. During the camp, children ages 8 to 13 will enjoy a specialized theme for each day of camp, learn to express themselves through various forms of writing, be exposed to exciting creative writing techniques, and have the opportunity to engage with a diverse group of young people.
The Exploratory Writers Winter Break Writing Camp will be held from January 2, 2013 to January 7, 2013 at the Young Years Learning Center located at 1051 Montreal Rd Clarkston, GA 30021. Camp will begin at 7:30 am and end at 4:30 pm. The camp will provide the children with free breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snacks each day. Kenni's goal is to provide parents with an easily accessible, cost efficient, worthwhile program that they can trust. The fee for this program is set at $50 for one child, $25 for each additional child, including the children's meals.
"I believe that parents shouldn't have to pay an arm and a leg to provide their children with quality experiences that will enrich their lives and enhance their skills," states the entreprenuer and writer. "As a parent, I understand the need to find some where to send my kids where they will be safe and engaged without having to fret over the cost."
Kenni York is the author of seven books including the youth poetry book A Girl's Perspective:
My Life in Poetry and the military children's book My Dad is an Army Man. She is the owner and CEO of Kenni Enterprises, LLC, a company which offers an array of literary services including regularly scheduled youth writing classes for the Exploratory Writers program. She is the mother of three and prides herself in going after her dreams and giving back to the community so much of what she feels has been given to her.
Kenni says, "I've overcome and accomplished a lot. It's important to me to be able to help other people, especially children, realize their passion and follow their dreams.
