Arthritis treatments for hip, shoulder, knee topic of free lecture

Dr. Edward J. Mikol will give a free public lecture on treatment options for arthritis Nov. 29 at HealthPoint Center for Health & Fitness.

Nov. 13, 2012 - PRLog -- Georgetown, S.C.   —Dr. Edward J. Mikol, a physician with Carolina Orthopaedic Specialists, will deliver a lecture titled “Current Treatment Options for Arthritis of the Hip, Knee and Shoulder” Thursday, Nov. 29, in Pawleys Island.

Mikol’s lecture, which is being hosted by Georgetown Hospital System, is scheduled for noon at HealthPoint Center for Health & Fitness, located at 12965 Ocean Highway. The event will last about an hour and include opportunities for participants to ask questions. Team members from NextStep Joint Replacement Center at Waccamaw Community Hospital also will be on hand to share information.
