Integrico Awarded $1.5 Million Recycled Plastic tie order from a leading US Rapid Transit Authority

Nov. 14, 2012 - PRLog -- November 14, 2012 - IntegriCo Composites, Inc, a leading manufacturer of high performance recycled plastic railroad ties, today announced one of the largest transit authorities in the US purchased their composite railroad ties in a $1.5 million award.

IntegriCo Composites’ railroad ties are now installed in Class I, Short Rail and Industrial customers’ tracks in the US, Mexico, Canada and India.  The Company’s flawless track record on install as well as in rail performance over the last several years has been a major differentiator for IntegriCo.

The Rapid Transit Authority placed an initial order for IntegriCo’s composite ties in August 2012 to meet their need for railroad ties that will last in wet and buggy conditions.  The transit authority can expect their IntegriCo ties will last 2-5X longer than the wooden ties they used previously.
