-- The solutions provided during the past few years by Mellon have equipped some of the biggest card personalization centres in South Eastern Europe, with their cumulative production volume being amongst the largest in the region. Today, the number of cards personalized with Mellon’s personalization solutions exceeds 15 million per annum, and includes all types of cards (credit, debit, prepaid, sticker) regardless of manufacturer, issuer or carrier (VISA, MasterCard, American Express etc).
Mellon’s personalization solutions cover the entire card personalization cycle, from magnetic strip and chip encoding, to PIN issuing, cover letter printing and card mailing. These solutions combine systems from leading manufacturers like NeoPost, Matica, Thales e-Security and Verisoft, with software developed by Mellon in order to secure their seamless integration and communication with its customers’ existing infrastructures.
“Our solutions enable personalization centres to upgrade and integrate new systems to their existing infrastructure, achieve high productivity rates and be fully compliant with all the international security standards”, commented Michael Pappas, Delivery & Services Manager at Mellon Technologies, parent company of the group. “The recent project undertaken by Mellon to upgrade Eurobank’s systems in order to personalize contactless cards, is an indicative example. This project has been benchmarked by MasterCard Worldwide as a guide for similar projects in the future, with emphasis in the Central & South Eastern European market where both Mellon and Eurobank are present.”
Among the personalization centers in the region that have recently deployed Mellon’s card personalization solutions are Grafocard (Serbia), Eurobank (Greece), Quipu (Kosovo), and CaSys (FYR Macedonia).
