Marine Veteran, Robert Kay, to Open Florida VOM FASS Location
VOM FASS USA Thanks Veterans by Participating in VetFran Program
“We have a lot of interest in VOM FASS from our Veterans separating from service or returning overseas. With 270 VOM FASS shops around the world, it’s not uncommon they visit one of our U.S. or international stores and fall in love with the concept,” said Young. “The military are a good fit for franchising because they are comfortable following systems and procedures.”
Historically, as one of the best franchise systems in Germany, VOM FASS specializes in finest wines, oils, vinegars, spirits and liqueurs Europe has to offer. The concept was awarded the #1 retail franchise in Germany by Impulse, a business magazine, in their prestigious Top 100 Franchise Ranking of 2012. The award is based on a comprehensive industry analysis of over 1,000 active franchise companies. VOM FASS was ranked #1 overall in 2010 and edged out # 3 McDonalds in overall ranking for 2012.
Started in Germany in 1994, VOM FASS, (translated:
Crescendo, a sister brand to VOM FASS, also offers franchises worldwide. The first free standing Crescendo Shop in the United States is scheduled to open by year end by Franchise Partner and Army Veteran Dustin Tanksi and his wife Lesli. In addition to franchise locations, there are shop-in-shops in Taipei, New Orleans, Louisiana, Austin, Texas, with other fine grocers opening soon.
VOM FASS is proud to now officially call Robert and wife Debby Kay franchise partners and is convinced their store is in for a successful future.
