Peeler Associates Offers Tips on "Increasing Your Leadership Effectiveness" at Business Expo

Nov. 12, 2012 - PRLog -- Marie Peeler, CEO of Peeler Associates, an executive coaching and leadership development firm working with individuals and organizations to increase their business effectiveness, recently presented at the Central Mass Business Expo, held November 1.  


Peeler led a seminar entitled, “Increasing your leadership effectiveness:  What it takes to be great and what’s holding you and your business back,” which focused on showing participants how to:
• Identify and practice the competencies that facilitate creative business leadership;
• Recognize the effect of one’s underlying assumptions and self-talk on individual leadership behavior;
• Identify the reactive tendencies that may hold them back; and
• Begin doing one thing today to start breaking habits of thought that do not serve them in their quest for greater leadership effectiveness.

“Business leadership is not what it used to be,” noted Peeler.  “A rapidly changing and increasingly complex business operating environment makes it harder than ever to be a business leader today.  

“Although it’s counter-intuitive for many business leaders to focus on themselves, doing work on their own personal capacity to lead is the key to greater achievement of business results and personal satisfaction,” she added.
