Silke Fleischer co-founded ATIV Software and published the sophisticated EventPilot conference app which received the GOLD Stevie® Award in 2012 American Business Awards℠. In addition to starting a rapid growth company in the male dominated mobile app development world, she implemented a completely remote business structure to keep the company footprint small while offering employees the greatest flexibility in working from anywhere in the world.

"Silke has an incredible life journey from growing up in a small town in East Germany to running a cutting-edge high-tech business that offers services to some of the largest medical and scientific association in the country,” said Eric Converse, CTO and co-founder of ATIV Software. “She has been leading the product management of our successful EventPilot conference app and is instrumental to the impressive growth of the company.”

The Stevie Awards for Women in Business are the world’s top honors for female entrepreneurs, executives, and the organizations they run. The 2012 awards received entries from 17 nations and territories and more than 1,200 nominations were submitted this year for consideration.
