-- A number of retailers in the UK have now received stocks of two new Samsung devices. We recently reported on the Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini and Samsung Galaxy Camera hitting the UK, and now it seems that British consumers are now able to get their hands on these devices.
The Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini is of course a more compact version of the South Korean manufacturer’
s bestseller. It is unlikely to see the same levels of success as the full sized Galaxy S3, but we can expect it to sell well nonetheless. The main purpose of the device is to appeal to those who want a smaller and/or more affordable version of the Galaxy S3. With the SIM free version of the handset costing around £300, it does offer substantial savings over the flagship device, meaning it is likely to sell well over the Christmas period. With a 4 inch screen and a few downgraded specs, it still offers a great spec list for the money and outdoes the majority of competing mid-range smartphone models.

The Samsung Galaxy Camera is one of the more innovative devices to hit the mobile market in recent months. As the name suggests, it is first and foremost a digital camera. This is certainly apparent when you look at the device, with its large zoom lens at the front. Its camera features include a 16 megapixel resolution and a 21X optical touch zoom lens. However, the Galaxy Camera also borrows some features from smartphones. It has a 4.8 inch HD touchscreen and runs the Android OS. It also features 3G and Wi-Fi connectivity, allowing users to instantly share their high quality photos and videos instantly via various messaging and social networking formats, using the relevant apps in the same way as you would with a smartphone.
