label, Maewi Digital and Maewi Entertainment. C-Will has five CD recorded music works and his latest accomplishment is “TOP LIFE” E.P. Series Part I on Maewi Digital.
C-WILL is getting ready for his latest project “THE EMPIRE EVENT” International Tour, starting December 2012.
C-WILL has a serious beginning story as he performed and worked with major music artists, groups, solo artists, record labels, touring, stage and lighting companies. He came onto the music industry scene first as a touring drummer at the age of 7 years old. C-WILL, by the age of 12 years old, was on a tour with the major label Def Jam recordings as he was in the house band for all of Def Jam's music artists, such as Alison Williams, Donald NewKirk, Black Flams, and De La Soul.
C-WILL toured Japan, China and major cities in the USA. At 14 years old, this young touring drummer made his first major impact after recording on Gospel albums and working with Def Jam recordings with the rap groups, RUN-DMC and Jam Master Jay “Raising Hell” album. This album included C-WILL working with the Major Rock Aritst Group that also appeared on the same album, “Aerosmith.”
C-WILL launched off at the age of 18 years old onto the first major tour that MTV had
called the “CLUB MTV” tour where he was the drummer and background vocalist for the pop group sensation, Color Me Badd. This four month spring/summer tour included only Grammy Award Winning groups like C&C Music Factory, Bell-Biv-Devoe, Tony-Toni-Tone and Rico Suave. Here C-WILL was not only a musician but he started managing the tour when the group became a headlining act. C-WILL played drums and sang background vocals for other major Grammy Award Winning groups or solo artists like, All-4-One, Issac Hayes, Blue Magic, R. KELLY, Boggie Down Productions KRS1, Carl Thomas, Akon, Marianne Faithfull, Morgan Heritage, Denroy Morgan, Paula Abdul, Proyecto Uno, Mark Anthony, Kenny Garrett, Toshi Kabutta, and David Byrne.
C-WILL has also performed a lot of session work as a drummer on international albums for other artists from Europe as well as Africa and the Middle East. TV Show performances where C-WILL was either performing drums for a group or as a solo act were: Arsenio Hall Show, Late Night with David Letterman, Oprah, Jay Leno Show, MTV Unplugged, VH1 Unplugged, In Living Colour, Grammy Awards, American Music Awards, Euro Music Awards, BET Awards, Soul Train Awards, Metro TV Live, Amnesty Awards Japan in New York Show, and the Ricky Lake Show.
C-WILL started writing his own music, and along with French partners, formed his own label Maewi Records, (pronounced “May We”). The same word spelled in French, “Mais Oui”, means “But Yes.” Now this label has changed with the times to the name Maewi Digital which “TOP LIFE” E.P. Series Part I is C-WILL’s 5th album recorded work along with “TOP LIFE” E.P. Series Part II, a 6th music recorded work under Maewi Digital.
For information on the first four album music works, “Storyteller”
C-WILL calls his sound “NEW VIBE MUSIC” which is Pop, R&B, FUTURE, and HIP-HOP.
C-WILL now heads, produces and designs his own tours or events and his latest touring project will take off in December, 2012 called “THE EMPIRE EVENT” Tour, where C-WILL will be the opening act for Celebrity Music Artist and he will also at the same time be headlining his own show. This tour starts in Europe and makes its way to the USA starting in December 2013.
