For ages, gamers have been reading the same kind of game reviews available out there which focuses solely on gameplay, platform, sound and graphics elements. Gameographics gives these otherwise boring game reviews a humorous twist.

Nov. 10, 2012 - PRLog -- Gamers, like all other consumers, rely heavily on game reviews before committing to a purchase. However, all too often, game reviews tend to be a bit too technical and opinions can be varying.

If we go back to these basics, good games should be summed up with a single, simple opinion - is it fun to play? Just revisit some of the old games like Ultima, Mechwarrior, Leisure suits Larry, Sword of Aragon, Might and Magic and most of us will agree that these games are still fun games to play even by today's standards.

Assuming these games are entirely new and unheard of, it is highly likely that most game review portals will give them a bad rating - simply because they review based on technical factors like gameplay, graphics, sound, etc. The fun factor may be neglected altogether, which ironically is the reason why folks still look for these games up to today.

To address this issue, Swag Soft has launched Gameographics - a website that focuses on publishing funny game reviews. Gameographics focuses heavily on the fun factor when reviewing games and injects healthy doses of humor and quirkiness into the reviews, so that they are not only informative but also highly entertaining to read.

Aldric Chang, CEO of Swag Soft, an iPhone app development studio, says, "We like to review all sorts of mobile games. Good ones, mediocre ones, even really bad ones. However we make it a point to inject humor into our reviews so that our readers enjoy the writing beyond just finding them informative."

Gameographics reviews mainly the latest mobile games available on the Apple app store and Googleplay. To date, more than 50 reviews have been published and the website has garnered a healthy fanbase which returns regularly for their dose of funny game reviews.

Ming Hui, Chief Editor of Gameographics, says, "For too long game reviews have been dry and boring. Hopefully we can help change that opinion."
